The Typographic Universe was created in my Typography class. The assignment called for us to create a book using an article and a multitude of images. We were tasked with developing a strong visual concept in addition to considering all visual elements like typography, rags, leading and paragraph specifications. I chose to pursue a bold and dimensional layout. I used red and black as accent colors with the goal of catching attention. Once the book was designed digitally, we printed them and bound them using the 'perfect book binding' technique.
